About Dustin Hutton

Dustin Hutton is an Associate Attorney at SR Holguin, PC.

Dustin is an ardent believer in the importance of the labor movement and the movement’s ability to improve the lives of workers across the world. As an attorney, Dustin holistically approaches every issue based on the diverse needs of his clients; he believes this is fundamental to securing and protecting their rights.

Dustin has a variety of legal experience that informs his perspective and practice as an advocate. During law school, Dustin worked as a law clerk at the Sacramento County Office of the Public Defender where he was a member of a team that worked on the cutting edge of felony murder resentencing. He also has experience representing children in dependency matters before the Orange County Superior Court where he fought to ensure that his clients no longer suffered abuse or maltreatment. These experiences taught Dustin the importance of balancing his compassionate approach to the law with aggressive advocacy.

While he has a varied history as an advocate, Dustin’s passion and heart remains in the labor movement. Dustin previously worked as an associate at a traditional labor firm where he represented public and private sector unions throughout Northern California and the Central Valley. His experience as a labor attorney includes representing unions in all aspects of the grievance process as well as matters before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and California Public Employment Relations Board (PERB).

In his free time, Dustin can be found spending time with his lovely wife and his two dogs or digging through bins at a local record store.
